I’ve stayed in luxury spots all over the world—and this is up there with the very best. I’ve now come back four times and stayed in three different apartments, and every single one has blown me away. The design is unreal and the journey starts from outside. Every detail is intentional. You walk in and feel it instantly—calm, inspired, grounded. It’s more than just accommodation; it’s an experience. You’ve got a private pool right outside your door. Also access to a spa, sauna, and even an ice bath at tuuch which is a 30second walk from the appartment. If you work remotely, the top-floor office has a view that makes productivity and creativity effortless. The rooms are amazing and evoke relaxation and all the bathrooms have high pressure water. From cooking full meals in the sleek kitchen to just unwinding in a space that feels curated to fully relax… this place has it all dialed in. If you’re coming to Tulum and want to do it right— this is it.

An unforgettable experience! From start to finish, this team made my first trip to Tulum—and my birthday—truly magical. The penthouse was stunning, with one of the most beautiful and luxurious interiors I’ve ever seen. Every detail was intentional: plush beds, pristine bathrooms, and elegant common areas perfect for celebrating. The team went above and beyond when friends had travel delays and checked in consistently—even after we returned home. When I accidentally broke a vase, their first concern was my safety, not the item. That grace meant everything. Our concierge was phenomenal—proactive, thoughtful, and always offering elevated suggestions. And to top it off, the team sent me a surprise birthday cake that brought me to tears. This was more than just an Airbnb—it was a full-service, luxury experience with care. Barney’s NY has set a new standard, and I will absolutely look to them first for future travel. Wherever they are in the world, that’s where I want to be.

We had an amazing stay at Barney’s New York Residence in Tulum. The house was absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and full of charm. Every detail made the place feel special and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor spaces were just as impressive, ideal for both lounging and entertaining. The host was extremely responsive and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Any questions or needs we had were quickly addressed, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and worry-free stay in Tulum!

Can't say enough about this listing. Everything that you see in the pictures, is what you see when you arrive. Everything that they list in the concierge service, is what you have access to. This is one of the first listings that I have been to where I feel like they fulfilled everything that a guest can ask for. From the moment we booked the listing to the moment we landed in Tulum and throughout the duration of the trip, the communication was top tier. Upon arrival we were met by Sabina who is the manager at the location, and she made sure that we were properly settled in. They gave us food recommendations (which all were great), local activities to do, and have access to chefs, yachts rentals, and can help with getting reservations at the best spots in Tulum. The property is located inside of a gated community and me and my party felt more than safe the entire duration of our stay. I can't thank Barneys enough for the experience that they gave us and I will definitely return soon

My stay at Barney’s New York in Tulum was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the service was top tier. Pam and her team set up everything perfectly, and I have no complaints at all. We didn’t need anything extra because everything was already taken care of. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of my needs with warmth and professionalism. Coordinating vendors for our activities through them was a breeze. Whether it was arranging transportation, booking excursions, or making reservations, they made the entire process smooth and stress free. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and exactly what you’d want in a Tulum getaway. Chic, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The attention to detail throughout the space made it feel luxurious and relaxing. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Loved everything about this residence & their team was very helpful throughout my entire stay . Located in a Very great spot in tulum . Not too far from the beaches. They helped with all my activities and transportation. ❤️❤️❤️

Very few airbnbs meet my standards but this one surpass them. I will come every year to Tulum and stay here overs and over. It’s beautiful, the staff is so helpful and they have cleaning service everyday. Thank you for making my 30th one for the books!

One of the most aesthetically pleasing places i’ve ever stayed, interior looked like a true work of art. The hosts are fantastic, always checking in and responds very quickly. Very proactive in making sure our needs were taken care of. They offered many recommendations for restaurants, clubs, excursions and all turned out great. Even down to the gate security who called a cab for me to go out at 2am, every one was just great. The place is quiet and well kept and if i’m back in Tulum I would absolutely stay here again. They really make you feel like you’re at home.
