It’s honestly hard to put into words how amazing Barney’s New York black penthouse is the pictures Do not do the property justice at all. It gives the feel of being in an art museum. Outside of the beauty of the property itself, I have to give a huge shout out to the concierge team. They were amazing, always helpful, always responsive and providing ideas and recommendations. They set up most of our reservations ahead of our time there, which made it much easier to plan and go about our days. My absolute favorite was their recommendation for booking a private dinner at the property. It was the most beautiful dinner I have ever experienced and the service that was provided from every single person they recommended for us was absolutely amazing. They take pride in taking care of their guests and making sure they are taken care of by others. I again thank you so much for such a beautiful experience for my 30th and have recommended this listing to almost number of friends already.

Let me start by saying Pam (our host) and her crew made this trip. I came to Tulum to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday and although I’ve been to Tulum numerous times before this was my first stay at Barney’s. Pam said it would be unlike any other villa I stayed at in Tulum and she was absolutely right. The property was GORGEOUS!! We celebrated with a group of 15 friends and family (all adults) and before arriving people assumed the pictures were fake or AI generated, (lol) but the property really looked that amazing. Additionally she gave suggestions for places to visit, put an itinerary together for the group with all FANTASTIC recommendations and assisted with special decorations, for our arrival. She was accommodating with requests, VERY responsive, literally around the clock. I can’t say enough about this property. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I’ll definitely be back. Can’t wait.

We stayed in Two Villas For My 45th Birthday the red & pink house!!! Both villas was perfect! Pam was extremely helpful with recommendation of transportation, questions, making sure we had everything we need! Global reservation team was excellent with creating the best itinerary for us! From the chef to restaurant reservations to activities & yacht!!! We a great time & will stay again we visiting Tulum ❤️

I've traveled to many places but this unit is hands down my favorite I've ever stayed in! The location was amazing as it is in a very safe and friendly part of Aldea Zama. The staff was very attentive and always available when needed anything! The actual unit speaks for its self.. You will have to force yourself to leave the house because it is that nice! The rooftop pool also has amazing views of the city. I will 1000% be staying with Barneys New York the next time I am in Tulum.

I’ve stayed in luxury spots all over the world—and this is up there with the very best. I’ve now come back four times and stayed in three different apartments, and every single one has blown me away. The design is unreal and the journey starts from outside. Every detail is intentional. You walk in and feel it instantly—calm, inspired, grounded. It’s more than just accommodation; it’s an experience. You’ve got a private pool right outside your door. Also access to a spa, sauna, and even an ice bath at tuuch which is a 30second walk from the appartment. If you work remotely, the top-floor office has a view that makes productivity and creativity effortless. The rooms are amazing and evoke relaxation and all the bathrooms have high pressure water. From cooking full meals in the sleek kitchen to just unwinding in a space that feels curated to fully relax… this place has it all dialed in. If you’re coming to Tulum and want to do it right— this is it.

An unforgettable experience! From start to finish, this team made my first trip to Tulum—and my birthday—truly magical. The penthouse was stunning, with one of the most beautiful and luxurious interiors I’ve ever seen. Every detail was intentional: plush beds, pristine bathrooms, and elegant common areas perfect for celebrating. The team went above and beyond when friends had travel delays and checked in consistently—even after we returned home. When I accidentally broke a vase, their first concern was my safety, not the item. That grace meant everything. Our concierge was phenomenal—proactive, thoughtful, and always offering elevated suggestions. And to top it off, the team sent me a surprise birthday cake that brought me to tears. This was more than just an Airbnb—it was a full-service, luxury experience with care. Barney’s NY has set a new standard, and I will absolutely look to them first for future travel. We had an amazing stay at Barney’s New York Residence in Tulum. The house was absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and full of charm. Every detail made the place feel special and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor spaces were just as impressive, ideal for both lounging and entertaining. The host was extremely responsive and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Any questions or needs we had were quickly addressed, which made the experience even better. Can't say enough about this listing. Everything that you see in the pictures, is what you see when you arrive. Everything that they list in the concierge service, is what you have access to. This is one of the first listings that I have been to where I feel like they fulfilled everything that a guest can ask for. From the moment we booked the listing to the moment we landed in Tulum and throughout the duration of the trip, the communication was top tier. Upon arrival we were met by Sabina who is the manager at the location, and she made sure that we were properly settled in. They gave us food recommendations (which all were great), local activities to do, and have access to chefs, yachts rentals, and can help with getting reservations at the best spots in Tulum. The property is located inside of a gated community and me and my party felt more than safe the entire duration of our stay. I can't thank Barneys enough for the experience that they gave us and I will definitely return soon
